A Pet Essentials Brand That Begins With Feeding, Not Selling
Share
Before FurJeevan became a brand, it began with a bowl.
A simple stainless steel bowl placed at the corner of a street in Bangalore, filled with food for one of the many dogs who had been feeding over the years. One bowl soon became three, and over time we were feeding more than twenty dogs across the neighborhood.
What began as a quiet routine slowly turned into something bigger. The dogs waited. They remembered. The neighborhood began noticing. And eventually, a simple act of feeding turned into a deeper question.
Could purpose come before business?
FurJeevan was created from that question.

A Brand Rooted in Real Life Care
FurJeevan is a direct-to-consumer pet essentials brand launching from Bangalore, India. The name itself carries a simple yet powerful reminder that life is valuable whether a dog lives on a couch or under a street stall.
India’s pet care market is expanding rapidly and is projected to grow significantly over the coming decade. While spending on pet products continues to rise, much of the market still focuses on aesthetics or novelty.
At the same time, pet parents are becoming more thoughtful about the products they choose. Comfort, durability and practicality are beginning to matter more than trends.
FurJeevan was created to bridge that gap between care and commerce. Our approach is simple. Build modern, functional pet products that are designed for everyday life.
Rather than competing in the luxury segment, we focus on building products that solve real problems for pets and pet parents.
A Market Ready for Change
The Indian pet care industry is growing steadily. Market estimates suggest that the sector could cross USD 6 billion by 2028, with pet food alone expected to reach a significant share.
Yet even as the industry expands, a large portion of the market remains fragmented and inconsistent in quality.
Many traditional retailers still focus on imports or decorative pet accessories. Meanwhile, conscious pet parents are looking for reliable, functional and well-designed essentials that support their pets' daily lives.
FurJeevan is building its brand around this shift.
We offer high-quality products designed for Indian conditions and lifestyles. Our goal is to create products that are simple, durable and thoughtfully designed for everyday use.
The Bowl Program: Quiet Impact, Built In
The FurJeevan Bowl Program reflects the philosophy that shaped the brand.
For every product sold, a portion supports the feeding of a street dog.
The program started quietly in Bangalore. As bowls appeared in the same locations each day, the dogs returned. They waited patiently.
Over time, neighbors began noticing the bowls and the dogs that gathered around them. What began as a personal routine slowly evolved into a shared habit of care.
The intention is simple.
To create a system where compassion becomes part of everyday business.
Designing for Real Needs
As FurJeevan prepares to launch its product line, the focus remains on functional design.
The first collection includes breathable cooling T-shirts designed for warm climates, reflective apparel that improves visibility during evening walks and durable ID tags built for long-term use.
Future product categories will continue to focus on everyday essentials rather than novelty items.
The aim is not to create fashion for pets, but practical solutions that support comfort, safety and mobility.
Staying True to Purpose
FurJeevan is being built as a bootstrapped venture. That independence allows the brand to remain focused on its core values.
Rather than chasing rapid growth or luxury positioning, the goal is to build a reliable essentials brand rooted in empathy and practicality.
In the coming months, FurJeevan plans to expand its feeding initiatives, collaborate with local shelters and continue developing products designed specifically for Indian conditions.
All products are designed and made in India.
The aim is simple.
Create products that pets need, and a brand that quietly contributes to the world they live in.
